No worry about a sophomore slump with Jason Matthews. This, his second installment in the Red Sparrow trilogy, comes roaring out of the gate with non-stop, razor's edge espionage action, as mole hunts on both sides of the table get hotter and hotter. This is still not a perfect book, but it is tighter than Red Sparrow (less extraneous filler), and Matthews' skills as a writer are growing. I do hope he continues to write and gives us more in this vein.
