DVD - 2019
Sue Ann, a loner in her quiet Ohio town, is asked by Maggie, a new teenager in town, to buy some booze for her and her friends. Sue Ann sees the chance to make some unsuspecting younger friends. She offers the kids the chance to avoid drinking and driving by hanging out in the basement of her home as long as they abide by the house rules. Her hospitality starts to curdle into obsession, and what began as a teenage dream turns into a terrorizing nightmare.

Just an ok rating from me. It's a reminder of how bad we can be towards each other. It just made me sad at certain parts of the movie.
I really enjoyed this movie like I thought I would. great performance from Octavia.
Oscar Award Winner Octavia Spencer is fantastic in this Psychological Horror but the teen actors not so much. On Horror technical merit, I’d say they nailed it. The blood, guts, and suspense feel real, and yes,...horrifying. The story drags on a bit, but the climax has its excitement. It’s not nearly as good as Get Out (2017) and a far cry from The Invisible Man (2020), all produced by Blumhouse Productions.
Ah alcohol. The cause of, and the solution to all of life's answers, except this film. Can any one say, a bad rip off of Carrie? Sure I knew you could. I got through this in twenty minutes. How did they get these A-list actors to sign on to such a waste of good celluloid?
This was one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. Down there with ‘Eraserhead’ and ‘Barry Lyndon’ amongst others. I can’t believe I watched the whole thing.
Not scary, barely suspenseful, and a lot of unnecessary (oral) sex scenes. As much as I love Octavia Spencer and Juliette Lewis, it was a waste of my time watching this movie.
Don't waste your time....
Ma......meh.
It's a sorta silly popcorn movie that I thought was a lot of fun. Will it win an Oscar? No. I love Octavia Spencer and it's worth the time just to watch her and Juliette Lewis.
