Stream of consciousness writing doesn't always work well, but in this book, it creates a beautifully deep, emotional story. Kammie's life, dreams, hopes, and regrets slowly unfold in a a way many people can relate to - amidst her very real issue of being trapped in a well.

What if your friends tricked you and you fell into a well? What would you do?

This absorbing adventure takes us on an emotional journey with a girl who has fallen into a well. Love the small book format, and 200 pages is just right for an inner dialogue - short enough to enjoy, without needing to rush through to find out how it ends. Grades 4-7
