I like this cartoon version of batman and catwoman.

Essentially this is an animated adventure based upon the original Batman television series and it's highly loyal and devastatingly nostalgic.

It's faithfulness to the original series however is in many ways its downfall as if you didn't like the 1960's show then you will hate this as well.

Full of over the top goofy campy comedy, classic utility belt gags and villian designs we haven't seen in years I commend the creators for what they have done here.

That being said for the fans of the show this is essential viewing and I'm highly impressed with what they've accomplished. RIP Adam West.

Nice to watch, especially Robin with all sorts of expressions.
Clean comic, funny and entertaining!

I was promised by the promotional blurb on this DVD's jacket cover that "The Return of the Caped Crusaders" was, indeed, a "Pow! Sock! Bam!" animated, superhero, action movie of the highest order.

Well - What I got instead was a "Yawn! Snore! Bore!" of a painfully predictable story that desperately tried to capture the feel of the live-action, Batman TV series from 50 years prior - But, it failed miserably.

It is so nice that Adam West got to play Batman one more time. A fun story with lots of references to the old series as well as to more recent Batman incarnations.

A return to the goofy Batman of the '60's. Very funny!

Enjoyable story, but I had to keep reminding myself that this was based on the comicbook "Batman '66" and not the TV series. The main element that was missing was the narration, which exists in the TV series but not the comic.
