When John returned home from medical school to visit with his wife and daughter, he could not have anticipated that his mortal journey would end 28 hours later, at the dead end of a popular cave. Despite the efforts of rescue crews, they were not able to free John's body from the narrow tunnel where he became stuck while exploring with friends. But that doesn't mean that John and others weren't saved in a real sense that day. The power of love and family can overcome anything, even death.

I would rather have seen a documentary regarding this true event rather than this sort-of hokey interpretation of what this guy's spiritual journey to death may have been like. Why would anyone think it's fun or smart to crawl on your belly in a dark dangerous cave anyway?

This is not an adventure story. This is re-enactment of a real-life misadventure that does not end well. It is not "33" revisited on a smaller scale. Definitely NOT for young family members.
