This album was released by Tove Lo in 2016. I thought this album was beautifully done. I enjoyed all the songs as I found them very powerful as its uplifting towards woman. Some songs were also romantic and had a nice beat as well. This album represents a lot of freedom and fights against society’s way of thinking while touching on the issues of sexism. This album isn’t just another album I find It very abrupt with meaningful and passionate lyrics. She delivers these lyrics through pop which gives positive feelings of motivation. I would recommend this album if you are female as girls will find it more relatable and outgoing. 3/5 stars @EffyStonem of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library.

In Tove Lo’s second studio album, she brings a whole new view on pop music and has yet again changed the game. Tove has returned from living in the Queen Of The Clouds era and has started a brand new one called Lady Wood. If you have heard Tove’s first album, when listening to this one you will be able to hear her creative freedom and expressionism take hold of her craft, resulting in beautifully written songs. These aren’t the songs you would hear playing on the radio, they are too raw for that, but being raw is exactly what makes Tove herself. Tove Lo goes all in in this album, separating it into two chapters filled with emotional rollercoasters. 5/5 stars

Yes this album does of explicit photos in the booklet but what did you expect from an album called "Lady Wood" Also, who gets a CD for the booklet? It's about the music. If you don't like explicit, then I'm not sure why you even bothered renting it in the first place. Lastly, it's the artists music and it's her body. She can do what she wants with it. Is it any different from a nude art book that the library supplies? I don't think so. Don't judge a book by its cover.

Pay attention to audio ratings. They are there for a reason, and if you mind them you won't see/hear what makes you uncomfortable.

I think the images in the book inside the CD case was extremely inappropriate for for viewer's. I am speechless about what I saw I can't imagine who would display their body in a CD case song information booklet in a public library or anywhere.

With Tove Lo's second release, she maintains the '90's fusion aesthetic she has so well cultivated. Clearly giving props to the '90's/'00's eras of Madonna, Janet Jackson, Aaliyah, and even Justin Timberlake's collaborations with Timbaland. It's catchy, enjoyable, and a sure thing!
