Absolutely, dreadfully boring along with a try at shocking the watcher with disgusting murders as only the Brits try to get away with. Uninteresting, foot dragging, unending chatter regarding a pretension at trying to solve their riddle. Going in circles without purpose only to prolong a senseless final end to a bad scripted movie.

We were not crazy about the two episode "pilot" and nearly returned the DVD.
However, we had nothing else to watch so we gave Episode 1 a chance and we were hooked enough to carry on through the (library is closed) holiday weekend.

Not as engaging as "The Wire" or some of the other convoluted shows we have liked (ie. "The Bridge" in the Scandinavian version of this amazing series...) bur eventually we were drawn into the story.
So, if the blizzard comes and you can't get out of the house..it will pass the time....

Entertaining, suspenseful, well acted. Here's hoping there's a series 2.

Wasn't too impressed with the pilot, but we continued through the next episode and are glad we did.
