In its first 3 seasons I found "Archer" to be a fairly entertaining secret agent spoof where its title character, Sterling Archer (though something of a crybaby and an annoying pushover) hadn't yet gotten around to the point of totally degrading himself and, with that, undermining the masculinity of the American male.

This irksome embarrassment of Archer's weak character traits came about fast and furious as this TV series moved on into its fourth season. And, it continued (at full force) to be that way right on through to its eleventh season.

Anyway - Be sure to check out this first season of "Archer". I don't think that you'll feel at all disappointed by what it has to offer you for some decidedly silly entertainment.

The voice acting is outstanding and the stories provide a little catharsis in our world of chaos. Let Archer and the gang get their licks in so you don't have to.

That being said, this isn't for the faint of heart. You've been warned.

Hated it. Couldn’t do first 15 minutes.
Tried again. Watched 2 episodes. Didn’t think it was funny. Maybe this is a millennial show? I don’t understand how there could be 7 seasons.

Crazy, underrated show on FX. The dialogue and "phrasing" is so awesome!

This show makes me literally LOL on a regular basis. If you gave it a shot and only got a few episodes in, please keep going! The running/inside jokes that carry through the series are too good!

I find this show nasty, obscene, racist, sexist and just wrong! And I love it! The show is just so much fun to watch, the characters blew me away and make me laugh so hard out loud! Cheryl is great, but Pam is better!

Was worth 2.5 stars; knocked off half a star b/c it kind-of felt like it was "trying too hard", and while using an approach that has already been done many times before, which is annoying to me.

Adult humor, sexual innuendo, homo-erotic overtones, just completely wrong...and completely hilarious!! Great series

Sure, one could easily dismiss "Archer" as being nothing more than trite, immature rubbish that doesn't even deserve the slightest bit of notice - But, with that said, I found that, throughout all of its non-stop bickering, bitching and back-stabbing, this rather peculiar TV show actually did contain a semblance of what I'd call "entertainment value"._____ Though far from being considered in any way "intellectual" viewing, "Archer" (with its hit'n'miss humor, its gory violence, its sexual innuendo, and its numerous pop culture references) was, in a sense, so bad that it was actually good._____ Presented as something of a "James Bond" parody, with plenty of "Get Smart"-type shenanigans thrown in for good measure, this animated TV series stars character Sterling Archer, a handsome, shallow, self-loving secret agent from ISIS who, in all of his incompetent bungling, loves to whine and point fingers whenever an all-important assignment gets royally buggered up (which happens more often than you'd think)._____ From its so-so animation, to its racist/sexist slurs, to its often predictable story-lines, "Archer" certainly had a strangely addictive allure to it which kept this viewer here watching all 10 of its wacky episodes with an amused and rapt attention.

[Cheryl walks in to find Cyril with his hand over Pam’s mouth]
Cheryl: Cyril! Are you cheating on me?
Cyril: No. I'm just... uh... trying to get my muffin back.
Cheryl: No you're not!
Cyril: I'm not?
Cheryl: Not like that, you're not. You gotta slug her in the diaphragm with a forearm shiver.
Cyril: That's... ah... good to know.
Cheryl: Do it! [Cyril slams Pam in the gut. She collapses and vomits on the floor] And no muffin. See? Time lost is muffin lost.
