Feels like a very geeked out book by a fan, and although not a strong writer, this easy to read book (which gets occasionally bogged down by technicals of the studio, which I know nothing about personally) gives great insight into the madness and genius before, during and after Pet Sounds. You'll learn quite a bit about the album but it's not a tell-all necessarily. Essential reading for fans of this outstanding album.
