Introduces the cooking and food habits of Korea, including such recipes as bean sprout salad and Korean dumplings, and provides brief information on the geography, history, holidays, and festivals of the country.
This is a very basic book with only 22 recipes. I was disappointed to see that some of the ingredients were American ingredients, such as wheat flour and cayenne pepper. The Kimchi recipe was very simplified and not authentic. I would not recommend this book for teaching juveniles since it does not give an authentic introduction to Korean cooking.
